Data Ethics Overview

Data ethics evaluates the issues involved with the collection, storage, usage, and protection of various forms of data and offers approaches for treating data according to principles.  All professionals work with data, so all professionals should be aware of the concepts for the ethical treatment of data and information – and how to apply them in any environment. This short course (20 minutes) examines topics such as organizational objectives for ethical data management, steps for developing an ethical culture for data and how to avoid unethical data usage, and regulations that drive the adoption of data ethics.

This 20 minute course provides an overview of data ethics for all professionals.
